Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa KJ Rangers undertake firearms training at Punmu and Kunawarritji

In May this year rangers from the remote communities at Punmu and Kunawarritji close to the Canning Stock route met up to be trained in safe firearms use. The training centered on firearms safety, cleaning and storage. Field shooting enabled the rangers to gain an understanding of range safety and range rules. The rangers further developed their skills in the humane management of feral animals and the code of practice relating to camel management.
